Nick is a teenage boy, who did not grow up in the best family environment. His 48-year-old mother, Estelle is broke and living in part of the money the child allowance provides for Nick and is also economically dependent on her latest partner Jerry, who engages in illegal transactions. When Jerry chased by a gang of beefy sailors for a dubious car deal, Nick's family has to flee from Oakland. During the stay Nick meets his dream girl Sheeni. But their meeting also leads to unexpected consequences. Disastrous ones!

Good casting, but the film would probably have benefited from a less bizarre second half.
