Li Brådhe is excellent as the overbearing mother who means so well but gets it so wrong.

A raw, well-acted, and dramatic thriller featuring a tough Tuva Novotny and a sympathetic Gustaf Skarsgård in the leading roles! Nicklas lives under the strict control of his well-meaning mother, Kerstin.

Nicklas feels suffocated; in her eagerness to steer his career path, his mother forgets to ask what he actually wants.

After being beaten senseless by Anneli and her gang, Nicklas suddenly vanishes without a trace. He soon makes a strange discovery: he has become invisible! The only person he seems able to reach is Anneli.

Editor's Note (2026): This supernatural thriller was a unique departure for Swedish cinema at the time, successfully blending "Nordic Noir" grit with a high-concept premise. It served as a major breakout for both Gustaf Skarsgård and Tuva Novotny.
