Full speed ahead – millions are at stake!

Twenty-five years after the first success, it is time for a new battle in the canal. The Andersson family is struggling with major liquidity issues, and the threat of bankruptcy looms over their shipyard and beloved boat, "Lena II."

Salvation appears as a tempting but ruthless proposal from the CEO of Tricks Television: a televised race between "Lena II" and the rival boat "Fortuna." With millions at stake, the race is complicated by a persistent bailiff and his zealous colleague Rita, along with the tireless canoeist Svante.

A pleasant reunion on the Göta Kanal! Lena Endre is superb in her role, and Nadine Kirschon is a very welcome new face in the cast.

Editor's Note (2026): This sequel managed to reunite much of the original cast for an anniversary adventure. It serves as a bridge between the 80s classic and the later third installment.
