A thriller featuring a beautiful couple in a struggle against the Polish mafia. Arne (Stefan Sauk) saves Irena (Izabella Scorupco) from drowning and is unintentionally drawn into a bloody tale that claims many lives.

The story is messy, but the archipelago is beautiful.

Irena turns out to have a criminal past and is a master of several languages—including, as it happens, perfect Swedish. Arne finds himself gradually drawn to this unpredictable and money-hungry woman, who uses her beauty to turn the heads of every man in her path.

Tomas von Brömssen plays a perpetually drunken captain on a vessel intended to sink with its "treasure" so it can be salvaged later.
