A dark mystery unfolding in the deep Swedish wilderness.

Four male friends are on their annual whitewater kayaking trip. Lukas, Simon, Anders, and John meet two girls from Stockholm—Marie and Susanne—who have recently moved to the northern regions of Sweden. Marie is the older sister who tries to keep a watchful eye on Susanne. However, Susanne is resistant to being "looked after" and wants to party a bit harder than her sister when the group decides to drink together that evening.

The truth always surfaces eventually.

By morning, Susanne has vanished without a trace. It becomes clear that someone in the group is hiding the truth. What actually happened during that night? As the police get involved, the question remains: will the case be solved, and what bloody reality will come to light?

Editor's Note (2026): Järngänget (White Water Fury) remains a fascinating look at the early careers of Alexander Skarsgård and Rafael Edholm. While it struggles with its 2000s-era pacing, it captures a specific atmosphere of the Swedish "Norrland" noir.
